Enchantress of Doriath; silver being wrought of moonlight
Fair elf-maid whose glowing beauty from afar
Illuminated the darkness of elven-night

Then Nienne and Nienna; elf-maids fair of face
Twain in elf-blood; when they ruled ¡®twas the elves¡¯ finest hour
Sweet Nienne ruled with boundless loveliness and grace
As fair Nienna wielded the scepter with beauty and power

Tari there was also; summer-maiden, elven fair
Beautiful being of glowing summer¡¯s delight
And the radiance in the golden beauty of her hair
Was wrought of fairest morning light

Then of Nellas I sing; brave elf-maid; fair and bold
A jewel scintillating with beauty of silvery moonglow
Noble being shrouded with an aura of gold
Beautiful ruler of long ago

Itarilde there was also; fair queen of lovely spring
Roaming the shores of Elven-home
Lovely elf-maid; spring nymph shimmering
As by emerald sea she would dance and roam

Then came fair Cirnelle; lady wrought of autumn gold
Cirnelle of the silvery laugh; ne¡¯er sorrowing
So beautiful was she; as it was told
As she wandered with raiment of stars following

And though the Seven lived through times of pain
Through ages of nightshade morrowless
Their alliance held firm; as in elf-blood they were twain
And at age¡¯s end; they passed over sea singing sorrowless

For though sacrifices were made; and life-blood shed
They had passed the test
Through the tears that were wept as their immortal hearts bled
Grey ships were summoned to bring them into the west

Seven great queens; seven stars shimmering
Set as jewels radiant in the night
Fairest of elf-kind; their night stars glimmering
Out of time and out of sight
